Andrew R. Wolf
Andrew Wolf’s practice is devoted to victims of consumer fraud and other aspects of consumer law, with special emphasis on class action cases. Mr. Wolf has represented clients in numerous consumer class action cases involving issues such as consumer fraud and violations of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. He presently represents or has represented clients in class action cases involving overcharging of title and registration fees by automobile dealerships, violating the New Jersey Consumer Protection Leasing Act in the leasing of cars to consumers by automobile dealerships, door-to-door retail sales, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) violations in the repossession and disposition of motor vehicles, rebate fraud, violating New Jersey Consumer Protection law related to retail store gift cards and  violations of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by debt collectors.
 
Mr. Wolf graduated from Rutgers University School of Law  - Newark in 1995 where he was selected as a National Member of Order of the Barristers for High Honors in the Art of Courtroom Advocacy, was the winner of the intramural and regional finalist in the 1993 ABA Negotiations Competition, and winner of the 1994 ABA intramural and regional Client Counseling Competition. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Queen’s College (CUNY) where he was a New York State Regents Scholarship recipient, and an MBA in Finance from St. John’s University, where he was on the Dean’s List and a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. He has extensive experience in the fields of Banking and Investment Banking. 
 
Mr. Wolf has particular expertise in the area of alternative dispute resolution, as both a mediator and arbitrator. He is certified as a Mediator by the State of New Jersey, Department of Law and Public Safety (1995) and the State of New Jersey Judiciary (1995). Mr. Wolf is also certified as a Trainer in Mediation and Conciliation Skills for the State of New Jersey, Administrative Office of the Courts (1997). In 2000, he was appointed as a Contract Arbitrator in Middlesex County and in 2006 he was certified to arbitrate New Jersey Lemon Law cases. Since 2001, he has mediated Chancery Division cases in both the Probate Part and General Equity Part in Middlesex County.  Mr. Wolf also mediates cases as a volunteer for the Law Division - Special Civil Part in Middlesex County and as team leader in the Middlesex County Municipal Mediation Program.
 
Mr. Wolf is recognized by his peers as an authority in the area of consumer protection law. He has served as a featured panelist at the 2003 New Jersey State Bar Convention, the 2004 Consumer Law Day program sponsored by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the 2005 New Jersey Judicial College. He has shared his experience and expertise with other attorneys by teaching consumer protection law to legal services attorneys on behalf of Legal Services of New Jersey in 2002, 2003, and 2007-2009. Mr. Wolf was also selected by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on the Special Civil Part Practice Committee for the 2006-2008 term and was reappointed for the 2008-2010 term.
 
Mr. Wolf was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1995, the Federal District Court of New Jersey in 1996, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in 1999. Mr. Wolf ‘s professional affiliations include membership in the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA), Board Member of the Consumers League of New Jersey, and the New Jersey State Bar Association Special Committee on Consumer Protection Law.
