Matthew A. Schiappa focuses his practice on representing planitiffs in personal injury, product defect, employment and civil rights litigation. Mr. Schiappa also represents plaintiffs in medical malpractice actions.

Mr. Schiappa is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law (J.D. 1996) and Boston University (B.A. Economics and Mathematics 1993; M.A. Economics 1993).  He was admitted to the New York Bar and the New Jersey Bar in 1997 as well as the Pennsylvania Bar in 2007.  Prior to joining Galex Wolf, LLC in April 2010, Mr. Schiappa was a member of the law firm of Clemente Mueller, P.A. wherein he defended clients in asbestos, toxic tort, environmental and construction defect cases.  For the last several years there, Mr. Schiappa began developing a practice representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice actions.  Over the course of his carrer, Mr. Schiappa has also handled various commercial litigation matters from both the plaintiff and defense side.  

In addition to being admitted to and appearing in the State Courts of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Mr. Schiappa is admitted to and has appeared in the Federal Districts Courts for the District of New Jersey, the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York.  Mr. Schiappa is also admitted to and has argued cases before the Second Circuit and Third Circuit Court of Appeals.  

Mr. Schiappa is a member of several professional associations including the New Jersey Association for Justice and the Morris County Bar.  Mr. Schiappa chose to join Galex Wolf, LLC to focus and dedicate his practice completely to representing plaintiffs.
