Mr. Miller graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1957.  He also has a Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Louis University in 1954.  He was the recipient of the Jack O’Brien Service Award by the New Jersey State Bar Association Workers Compensation Section, on which he served as a Trustee.  He has served as Chairman of the workers compensation committees for the American Trial Lawyers Association, including a term as National Chairman, Essex County Bar Association, serving as the Chairman for 25 years, and been a Trustee and Editor of the Workers Compensation Newsletter for the New Jersey Bar Association.  Mr. Miller has shared his experience and expertise with others by lectures and also publications.  He lectured to bar and public groups in legal subjects since 1978.

Mr. Miller was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1957, United States District Court, for the District of New Jersey 1957, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit 1981, and The United States Supreme Court 1979. 

Mr. Miller was a Member of Board of Governors ATLA – New Jersey, State Chairman of Workers’ Compensation Section 1978-1983.  He also served on the New Jersey National Guard with which he had an Honorable Discharge, 1957 – 1963.
